the rarest Maine Tourmalines available. We have many pieces of our wearable art in an array of gemstones. Our jewelry showrooms are
full of gorgeous, multi-colored collections of Maine Tourmaline, Maine Blue Tourmaline, Maine Watermelon Tourmaline, as well as, other
beautiful gemstones and diamonds in gold, silver, and platinum settings. All of our handcrafted jewelry has been carefully selected for
its individual style, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship. You will also find many “one of a kind” pieces crafted by one of

We are Maine’s first and best outside gem panning offering exclusively high grade materials at our Farmingdale location. All of our mine dirt comes
from Mount Mica and you may find some tourmaline, aquamarine, morganite, quartz crystals, as well as, other gems. For a day full of fun and surprises,
come panning at Kennebec Jewelry & Repair. Our mining is open seasonally from May to October.

Meet the Jewelers |
My name is Brett Leighton and I am the owner of Kennebec Jewelry and Repair and Harbor Stones. We are a family
owned business with over 100 years of combined staff experience in the jewelry and gem business and have two
locations to serve you in Farmingdale and Boothbay Harbor, Maine. My assistant jewelers are Bob Gray with
32 years of experience, Brian Quigley with 36 years of experience, and Arthur Frechtling with 40 years of
experience who are all located at our Farmingdale location. Bob is the former repairman for Nicholson & Ryan,
Brian is a goldsmith and award winning J.A. accredited national designer, as well as, Maine’s first and only J.A.
certified Master Jeweler, and Arthur is our wax and metal sculptor and designer.
